THANKS to everyone
who supported this year’s outstanding Plant Sale! Thanks to all the
customers who came out in the bad weather and purchased our quality plants. This was the best plant sale in the history
of Enfield Garden Club. There were
definitely some challenges this year, but it didn’t stop us from reaching our
goal. The weather was not
our friend. It was rainy, cold, and uncomfortable. Then, it
started to pour in the middle of the morning, we all thought that it was over
but rain does not seem to stop the true gardeners from being outside! Most perennials sold out. We had just a small percentage of the annuals
to return to the nursery. Thanks for all the time put in by the members who
made the crafts. Thank goodness for all the guys who helped out. They need a big thank you as well! Anyone
that I missed deserves a thank you, too.
