Next Meeting March 25, 2026 at 6:00PM!
All are welcome to attend our presentations
Join us at 6:00 PM, the 4th Wednesday of the month, March - October
Meetings are held at the Enfield Annex, 124 North Maple Street, Enfield, CT
Member meetings are held monthly, March through October, with guest speakers specialized in a wide variety of topics. Learn all about native pollinators, endangered plants, and ways to help our ecosystem thrive. But if you want to get your hands dirty, then workshops are just for you! Workshops are held by our own EGC members, and range from pickle parties to flower pressed crafts.
The EGC has six town gardens throughout Enfield, five different locations for bluebird houses, five little libraries, and have held an annual plant sale for several years. Members have beautified the community through many other small projects at schools and other community-oriented locations. If you want to assist the community, then the EGC has many opportunities for you!
Not only does the EGC have many little libraries around Enfield, but members also host an annual youth program with the Enfield Central Library. Every year, books are always donated to schools and donations are given to organizations. Additionally, our workshops and lectures are all apart of the effort to keep educating people about our natural world.
The EGC is not all work and no play. Members have lots of fun engaging with the community and learning more about the environment. Every year we get together to prepare for the annual plant sale, learn at our meetings, and celebrate at our holiday party at the end of the year. Join us and find out how much of a blast we have at the EGC!
